Plumber in Rome, GA
Kingry.Plumbing is based right here in Rome. Most of our work lives inside Floyd County, and Rome calls land in our regular schedule because the shop, the crew, and the trucks all leave from here every morning.

Why we know the houses here
Rome is home base. Seth Kingry has been a plumber since 2016, working out of Atlanta first and then opening the Rome shop in 2022, and most of the families we work for now live within a short drive of that shop. We know the older homes around downtown and Between the Rivers, the slab houses out toward Armuchee, and the newer subdivisions in Garden Lakes and on the north side of the city. Whether it is a gas line on a Civil War-era house off Broad Street or a tankless install in a fresh build, we have done it locally.
Some of the work we run around Rome.

Main lines and yard work
Most weeks we have at least one yard job inside Rome. Failed water mains, hose bibs that froze and split, irrigation supply that finally gave out. We bring our own dig equipment, cut, replace, pressure-test, and backfill in a day when the line is reachable.

Behind the walls
Rome’s older neighborhoods come with old-house surprises. Galvanized supply that finally rusted shut, cast iron drains that lost their seals, gas line runs from the meter to a new appliance. The work that happens before the drywall closes back up is most of what we do.

Water heaters and gas appliances
When the tank gives up, the call comes in. We carry replacement tanks on the truck, and we run the gas line if it needs upsizing for a tankless, a generator, or a new range. Pressure-tested and signed off before the gas goes back on.
Neighborhoods we serve in Rome
A short list of the parts of town where we have done recent work. Yours is probably included even if it is not named.
Between the Rivers
Older Victorian and Craftsman houses near where the Etowah and Oostanaula meet. Cast iron drains, galvanized supply, narrow crawlspaces.
East Rome
Mid-century ranch and post-war single-family. Copper supply, plenty of original water heaters still in service.
West Rome
Established residential off Shorter Avenue. The work mix here runs repipes, water heaters, and the occasional bathroom remodel.
Mount Berry
College-adjacent residential and the newer builds north of campus. Newer plumbing, usually PEX with manifold supply.
Armuchee
Rural and semi-rural north of town. A lot of well systems, propane tanks, and longer service lines from the meter to the house.
Garden Lakes
Newer subdivisions south of the river. Mostly PEX and slab construction, with the predictable PRV calls when city pressure runs hot.

Remodels
What goes in behind drywall decides how the rest of the remodel turns out. Rough-in, fixture install, drain rework, and clean tie-ins, handled from walk-through through final inspection.

Water heaters
When the shower runs cold, you want a straight answer first. We troubleshoot before we sell, then handle tank, tankless, and hybrid heat-pump installs across Northwest Georgia.

Water mains
When a wet spot in the yard turns into a sinkhole, the failed water main underneath is the cheap part. We dig in, run a new supply, and don’t leave until a pressure gauge says the line will hold.

Faucets, sinks, and toilets
Replacements and repairs for faucets, sinks, toilets, garbage disposals, and the angle stops that hold it all together.

PRV replacement
When the pipes bang every time a faucet shuts off, the PRV at your main is usually the culprit. We measure the pressure, set the new valve to spec, and verify with a calibrated gauge before we leave.

Hose bibs
Hose bibs are the primary outdoor water work: we install new ones, replace burst bibs, and upgrade standard to frost-free. We also handle yard hydrants, outdoor showers, and the dedicated runs that feed them.

Family-owned, based right here.
Seth Kingry started plumbing in 2016 and earned his journeyman license before opening the shop in 2022. The trucks roll out of our Rome shop every morning, and the family name on the side is the same one answering the phone when you call back. That is not a small thing in a trade that runs heavily on national franchises.
