Plumber in Dallas, GA

Dallas is the Paulding County seat, about thirty-five miles southeast of Rome down US-411 and GA-20. It is the civic anchor of one of the fastest-growing counties in the state, and the work mix runs the full spread, from courthouse-square historic homes to the master-planned subdivisions out toward Cedarcrest.

About the area

Why we know the houses here

Dallas sits at the center of Paulding County, with the red-brick courthouse and the old downtown square as the civic anchor and decades of new residential growth pushing out from there. Housing stock is split: a small core of turn-of-the-century homes around the square and Memorial Drive, then a much larger ring of newer subdivisions built through the long Atlanta-exurb boom, places like Seven Hills and Bentwater on the north side, plus everything along Cedarcrest Road. Paulding County permitting goes through the county Building and Permitting Division at 240 Constitution Boulevard in Dallas. It is a different office than Floyd, Bartow, or Gordon, but the process is the same on our end and we pull every permit ourselves.

Recent jobs
  • Water heaters and gas appliances

The Paulding subdivisions built through the early 2000s are hitting the age where the original water heaters are giving up. We carry standard residential tank sizes on the truck, and we run new gas where the existing line cannot handle a tankless or a generator load. Tested and signed off before the gas turns back on.

  • Bath remodels and rough-ins

Paulding has enough housing in the twenty-to-thirty year range that bath remodels are a steady part of the Dallas work mix. Tile-ready shower pans, PEX manifold supply, brass mixing valves, and a drain rough that the inspector signs off before the drywall closes back up.

  • Repipes and downtown-square plumbing

Downtown Dallas and the older Memorial Drive blocks come with the usual old-house surprises. Galvanized supply that finally rusted shut, copper that someone soldered cold decades ago, cast iron drains that lost their seals. We cut, repipe, and pressure-test on every visit.

Neighborhoods we serve in Dallas

A short list of the parts of town where we have done recent work. Yours is probably included even if it is not named.

  • Downtown Dallas

The courthouse square and the older residential streets around it. Turn-of-the-century homes with cast iron drains, galvanized supply, and crawlspaces that were never meant for finished work.

  • Memorial Drive corridor

Older single-family along the corridor running east out of the square. Mid-century housing stock with copper supply, original PRVs, and water heaters that came with the house.

  • Seven Hills

Master-planned subdivision on the north side of Paulding, one of the larger amenity communities in the area. PEX manifold supply, slab construction, and the standard water heater and fixture work that comes with newer houses on a fast cycle.

  • Bentwater

Established golf-course community in north Paulding. The houses have aged into their first round of major plumbing calls, water heater swaps, PRV failures, and the supply-side repairs that show up around the twenty-year mark.

  • Cedarcrest Road

The five-mile stretch lined with subdivisions north of Dallas. Newer construction, big lots, and the predictable mix of water heater, fixture, and gas line work that comes with rapidly built exurban housing.

On the Dallas route

The county seat, with thirty years of new houses around it.

Dallas is the older square at the middle of one of the fastest-growing counties in the state. The Paulding County permit office is right downtown at 240 Constitution Boulevard, which keeps the paperwork side simple. Most of the work is in the subdivision ring that has been filling in for the last thirty years, with the older downtown blocks mixed in. We are on the regular route southeast from Rome and the drive is already factored into our quoting.

Dallas questions

Yes. Dallas is on our regular service map, about thirty-five miles southeast of the Rome shop, roughly forty-five minutes down US-411 and GA-20. We work the same residential mix here as we do in Floyd, Bartow, and Gordon. Gas lines, water heaters, repipes, fixture work, bath remodels, and PRVs all come through.
